This invigorating and lively event is an incredible opportunity to achieve a new fitness challenge and raise vital funds for the disabled veterans in our care.
Most of the residents at Care for Veterans are wheelchair users and are working hard to regain their mobility or to maintain as much independence as possible. This is a chance to walk for those who can’t, and those who are desperately trying to.
We’re there for our walkers every step of the way. From fundraising tips to staying in touch, we want to help you make the most out of this amazing experience.
There are three options for signing up – full sponsorship, mixed funding and own-place fundraising.
You can pay a small registration fee and then fundraise to a minimum target e.g. Marathon £30 Reg Fee & £300 Fundraising
Pay half the amount needed for your event place & then fundraise with a lower target e.g. Marathon £50 Reg Fee & £150 fundraising
For both the full and mixed funding options, 50% of your fundraising would be due 3 weeks prior to the event to secure your place (Care for Veterans would cover the remaining balance of your place cost).
Pay the total cost of your event place & also fundraise whatever you can for Care for Veterans. There are NO fundraising targets or deadlines for you or event costs for Care for Veterans in this scenario.
e.g. – Marathon £99 Fee & raise what you can!
