Staying active is so important during lockdown, but instead of your regular run or walk, why don’t you climb the height of one of these famous mountains or skyscrapers?
How: You decide
Registration Fee: £13 (With a special certificate and medal upon completion)
With events cancelled or postponed, we have lost a vital source of income. With running costs still at £1.9 million a year we are in desperate need of support from people like you.
We know that it’s hard to feel on top of the world right now, but why not walk the distance to the highest point on Earth, the summit of Mount Everest? At 8,848 m (29,029 ft) or 58,070 steps, this will be a challenge for even a seasoned walker.
If you think Mount Everest is a bit steep, why not choose another icon to scale? With Big Ben at only 632 steps, there’s a monument for most abilities.
However you decide to support us, please know that your help will go a long way in ensuring that the veterans in our care continue to receive the support they need. To help maximise your fundraising create a fundraising page.
