Rehabilitation Kitchen

Our fully customized rehabilitation kitchen increases residents’ independence and achievement, by helping them re-learn lost skills, using specially adapted equipment. The kitchen has easy wheelchair access to cookers and height adjustable work surfaces where residents can refine recipes or just make a cup of tea! Activities include baking cakes to making a three course meal. These cooking sessions give residents a sense of achievement and satisfaction at being able to do something for themselves. Residents’ regain confidence in their ability to cook and develop new techniques for dealing with the tasks of daily living.
