If you are a UK taxpayer we are able to claim a percentage on your donations from HM Revenue and Customs, at no extra cost to you! To qualify for Gift Aid, you must pay an amount of tax and/or capital gains tax at least equal to the amount to be reclaimed in a tax year. All we need is your name, address and your permission to Gift Aid your donations.
In 2013, Care for Veterans missed out on an estimated £5,512 of donation income through having no Gift Aid declaration from donors – enough to pay for nearly five months of our Neurology service for our residents.
