Registered Manager

We are now recruiting for a Registered Manager to set the standards for our professional and committed team.  The role will report directly to the Chief Executive.  The successful candidate will have exceptional CQC knowledge and be able to demonstrate outstanding leadership ability.

Hours of work:  37.5 per week

Salary: £56,000 to £60,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.

Holiday: In addition to an attractive salary we offer 25 days annual leave plus bank holiday entitlement, life assurance, 5% pension contribution matching scheme and subsidised meals.

If you are an experienced Registered Manager, passionate about delivering the highest standard of care and progressive in outlook this could be the role for you.  You will need to be an inspiring influencer with a proven track record of building relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.  This includes Trustees, funders and other external agencies.

It is essential that you hold the Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care (Adults) or equivalent and ideally hold a valid NMC RGN Pin.  Neuro-disability experience would also be an advantage.

This is a full-time role, based in Worthing.

Sous Chef

We are recruiting for a Sous Chef with a Level 3 Diploma in Catering to join our friendly and professional catering team.

Hours of work: 36.85 per week

Salary: £9.68 per hour

Shifts: 4 days on, 4 days off; usually worked 7.30 am to 6.30 pm inclusive of a 30 minute paid and 30 minute unpaid break

Holiday: 20 days (pro rata) plus bank holiday entitlement (pro-rata)

Healthcare Assistant (Days)

Day Hourly Rate£8.74 per hour plus weekend enhancements

A vacancy has arisen for a full time Healthcare Assistant to join our friendly and professional day team. If you hold a Diploma/NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Health and Social Care/Care Certificate and have experience in delivering care we would be keen to hear from you. A Diploma/NVQ enhancement is offered after probation. A keen interest in neurological rehabilitation of all age groups would be highly desirable.

Hours: 37.5 hours per week. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required.

Shifts:  7am to 3pm or 1pm to 8.30pm

Shifts: 8 pm to 7 am

Kitchen Assistant

Shift pattern – 9am to 6.30pm

We are looking for a Kitchen Assistant, with experience, to join our busy team at Care for Veterans, where we care for physically disabled ex-service personnel. Due to our setting an enhanced DBS check will be required.

Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse – Days – Band 5/6 equivalent

Full or part-time – minimum of 22.5 hours per week – 3 shifts. Shifts 7am to 3pm and 1pm to 8.30pm.

A vacancy has arisen for a motivated Staff Nurse/Senior Staff Nurse to join our Day Team. If you are interested in working as part of a slow stream rehabilitation multi-disciplinary team this could be your next career move.

Staff Nurse – Band 5 Night Duty

Circa 8 nights per month (8pm – 8am)

A vacancy has arisen for a motivated Staff Nurse to join our Night Duty Team working circa 8 nights per month. If you are interested in developing your professional and managerial skills and knowledge within a flexible, supportive and nurturing environment we are keen to hear from you.

Shifts are 7 am to 3 pm; 1 pm to 8.30 pm and nights are 8pm to 8am.
