We are looking for an experienced and successful Fundraising Manager to join our busy Fundraising & Marketing team at Care for Veterans in Worthing, where we care for physically disabled ex-Servicemen and women. This is an exciting time to join the charity as in 2019 we celebrate 100 years of caring for our nation’s veterans.
The Fundraising Manager will support the Head of Fundraising & Marketing on delivering the fundraising strategy and income targets. Main duties will include managing the Fundraising Officers; working on new annual and one-off fundraising initiatives and achieving their income targets; acting as a fundraising advocate in the local community and attending networking events; developing and maintaining key relationships particularly within organisations and companies; with the Head of Fundraising & Marketing working on high profile centenary events and managing ad hoc fundraising initiatives (see the job description for more details).

We are currently recruiting for a Nurse Manager to manage one of our 22 bedded wings. The post will involve leading a day team of Registered Nurses, Healthcare Supervisors and Healthcare Assistants, reporting to our Head of Clinical Services.

A vacancy has arisen for a full time Healthcare Assistant at Care for Veterans. Hours of work are on a rota basis: 7.00am to 3.00pm or 1.00pm to 8.30pm. Weekend and bank holiday working will be required. Candidates should ideally have NVQ level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care. A keen interest in neurological rehabilitation of all age groups would be highly desirable. In addition to a competitive salary pay is enhanced for weekend working. NVQ pay enhancements offered after probation. Holiday is 25 days per annum plus bank holiday entitlement.
