A popular Christmas concert which raises money for a veterans’ charity in Worthing will take place on Sunday 13 December 2026.
The annual Carol Concert, hosted by Care for Veterans – a Royal Star & Garter Home, will be held at the stunning Grade I-listed Lancing College Chapel.
The concert is open members of the public to attend to soak up festive cheer and will include a live choir and readings.
All proceeds from the event will go back to the Home, which provides long-term nursing, rehabilitation, respite and end-of-life care to veterans and their families who live with disabilities, including acquired brain injury and degenerative neurological conditions. It is now part of the Royal Star & Garter group, following a merger with the charity in April 2025.
Previous Care for Veterans’ Carol Concerts at the 500-seat Lancing College Chapel have sold out, and organisers expect tickets to be in high demand again this year.
The Rowland Singers will be performing and Gary Shipton, the High Sheriff of West Sussex, will offer a reading. Worthing Mayor Lysanne Skinner and members of Worthing Council will also attend.
Vicky Strange is the Home Manager at Care for Veterans. She said: “Our Carol Concert is one of the most anticipated events of the festive season, set in a truly stunning venue that provides the perfect backdrop for an afternoon of music, reflection and celebration. We are delighted to once again bring people together while raising money for a worthy and very special cause. We hope you can join us to celebrate the Christmas season together and make this year’s event another memorable occasion.”
Sussex Print is supporting the event as official print partner.
Tickets for the Carol Concert are £15 and can be purchased at: www.careforveterans.org.uk/events/christmas-carol-concert-2026/
