Peter Whapshott

Peter comes from a technology background and has spent years working with BT and IBM. He has fingers in a few pies, one of which has seen him work with the NHS all through Covid19. However, Peter’s real passion is Military History. He has his own business, called Barbed Wire Tours Ltd, which guides people around the battlefields. Peter has never been in the forces, but both of his Grandfathers, Father and Brother have. 

Peter has been raising money for veteran charities for the last 15 years. His fundraising work has been carried out in many forms, from releasing a CD of WW1 songs to Log runs, clay pigeon shooting and participating in many military events. He is also a very keen Sea angler. 

Peter and his family currently live in Dartford, Kent. He is honoured to be an ambassador for Care for Veterans.
