Charity of the Year

Choose Care for Veterans as your Charity of the Year.

Nowadays, many companies choose to work closely with one charity per year, to focus their support and create a meaningful relationship with real, lasting benefits. Care for Veterans is the perfect charity partner as we are a well-established and well-respected charity with a dedicated and experienced Corporate Fundraiser. Your staff will be encouraged to visit our facilities, meet our staff and residents, and really get involved so all that they do has a real meaning for them and they can see what a difference the money raised makes. Likewise, our Corporate Fundraiser will visit your premises, get to know your staff and help as much as you would like them to.

Encourage staff to sign up to our lottery

Be in with a chance of winning £200 every month, whilst supporting our care for disabled veterans. For £4 per month, players will receive four entries to each month’s lottery draw. Every month, three numbers will be chosen at random and there will be three guaranteed winners. Read about the Care for Veterans Lottery

Take part in one of our events

We can keep you up-to-date with all our events, which can be anything from intrepid challenges for the daredevils, action events for those who are sporty, quizzes for those who like to show off their knowledge or a Ball for those who just like to eat, drink and be merry. We always have lots happening at Christmas and have an events calendar that is suitable for all types of people, plus many family events too. View our upcoming events

Organise your own event/initiative

We’ll help you to organise your own event as much as you would like, either on your premises or at a local venue. We can provide fundraising ideas, materials, publicity information and manpower to help you on the day. Read about more ways to fundraise

Organise a volunteer group

Come and volunteer and really get involved. This is great for team building and ensuring your staff is engaged with the charity. Read about volunteering

Donate gifts in kind

We always need items for our raffles and tombolas and second-hand goods for our pop-up charity shop.

Payroll Giving

An easy and effective way of donating to your chosen charity directly from your monthly salary. The money is taken from gross pay, thus avoiding tax, and paid straight to the charity.

Sponsor an event, piece of equipment or a specific aspect of care at Care for Veterans

We can put together a sponsorship package, which will tick all your boxes, be it brand awareness, fulfilling your CSR objectives or building relationships in the local community. Packages are specially tailored towards what you need and how you wish to promote your business and to whom.

Employee fundraising

This can be fun, challenging and rewarding and ensures that your staff work together to support their chosen charity. It generates good will amongst your staff and we can give you all sorts of tips, advice and help along the way.
