Colonel John Saville

Colonel John Saville served a full career as a regular officer in the Royal Electrical and Mechanical Engineers, retiring in 2012. He enjoyed a range of roles, including command of 102 Battalion REME, UK Defence Attaché in Bulgaria and command of equipment support for Scotland and the north of England.

Colonel Saville is a Fellow of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers, was Chairman of Combined Services Luge for fourteen years, and remains active in winter sports and golf.

Colonel Saville has been Chairman of Sussex Reserve Forces and Cadets Association since 2015, supporting the Armed Forces and Cadets throughout East and West Sussex. He has been a Trustee of Care for Veterans since 2016.
