Keep Calm… and Run 5k

Thanks and congratulations to our Keep Calm and Keep Running 5k participants who have managed to get up and get out into the (very) fresh January air to complete their challenge.

Here at Care for Veterans, we are working tirelessly to ensure that the veterans continue to get the nursing care, rehabilitation, respite and support they need in these uncertain times. Thank you to our runners – your support will go a long way in making sure we are able to do so.

Derek during his January 5k

Derek – completed his challenge on 4th January. Derek says he is looking forward to the next one!

Ros and Di on their 5k run

Ros and Diane on their 5k Race on Wednesday (6th January), despite the cold weather!
Ros said: ‘It was very cold but the pavements were mainly dry, so we just had to take care to spot any icy puddles. It’s so good that we can still run in pairs, despite the Lockdown, and the Care for Veterans 5k gave us an incentive to get out there.’
‘Here we are at the end of our run.’

Arpan - Keep Calm and Keep Running

Arpan is giving his support all the way from Brunei. As a member of Defence, he said it is his honour to help and contribute for our veterans.
